Your location.
For this check.
curbcheck is developed by Aaron Meyers. This policy explains how the iPhone app and this support website handle information.
Location in the app
With your permission, curbcheck uses your current precise location to find nearby street-cleaning schedules and display the street you’re checking. Your location and result are held in memory for the current check. curbcheck does not save a location history or send your location to a developer-operated server.
Your coordinates, or a small geographic area around them, are sent directly to public City of Los Angeles data services hosted by Esri ArcGIS to check city coverage and nearby routes. Apple’s mapping and geocoding services provide map tiles and the street address. These services receive the information needed to respond to those requests and may handle request data under their own privacy policies. curbcheck does not control their logging or retention.
Schedule data and Shortcuts
The app downloads the city’s public calendars from Google Calendar. Those calendar requests do not include your coordinates. Network services receive normal connection information, such as an IP address. Public schedule data may be cached in memory, and a bundled city calendar may be used when supported.
If you run curbcheck through Shortcuts, Shortcuts supplies the location you choose. The action uses the same city services and returns a schedule result to Shortcuts. Apple controls Siri and Shortcuts processing and permissions.
No tracking or account
curbcheck has no account system, advertising, analytics SDKs, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated location database. The developer does not receive your app lookups. Apple may provide aggregated App Store statistics or diagnostics according to your device and App Store settings.
This website and support email
This website is hosted by Vercel and uses no added analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process standard web request information, including IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.
If you email support, the developer receives your email address and anything you choose to send, and retains that correspondence as needed to respond and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive information you do not want included in an email. You can contact the developer to request deletion of support correspondence.
Your choices
You can disable or change location permission in iPhone Settings. Without a sufficiently precise location, curbcheck cannot verify your current block. You can choose whether to run a location-based shortcut or send support email.
