Check this block.

Open curbcheck near the parking spot and tap “Check this block.” Compare the posted weekday and hours in the result with the sign.

What does the result mean?

Location and coverage

Enable Location Services, allow curbcheck to use your location while using the app, and turn on Precise Location in iPhone Settings. The app covers the City of Los Angeles; nearby cities have their own schedules. An internet connection is needed for city data.

Results may include more than one nearby route. Use your sign to identify the applicable weekday and hours. The app does not identify the exact curb or predict officer activity, temporary signs, construction restrictions, or other parking rules.

Widgets and Siri

Add curbcheck’s “Check this block” widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen, or add its control to Control Center. Tapping starts a fresh check.

For Siri, create a shortcut named “Check street cleaning.” Add curbcheck’s “Check street cleaning at a location” action, choose Current Location for Location, and keep Show When Run enabled. Ask Siri to run the shortcut. Shortcuts may request location permission. The app’s built-in Siri phrase, “Check street cleaning with curbcheck,” opens the app.

Email me@aaron-meyers.com. If helpful, include the app version, posted weekday/hours, and the error shown. Only share an address or screenshot if you’re comfortable doing so.

curbcheck is independent of the City of Los Angeles. Always check the sign and other parking restrictions. Schedule results are not a guarantee that parking is allowed.
